Ecommerce Growth by Scaling Digital Marketing Setup and Maximizing Impact

Challenge

Anatomie approached Evestar looking to scale growth after several years in the luxury apparel space. When working with agencies in the past, the results demonstrated a lack of focus towards prospecting new customers, and rather relied solely on returning purchasers. Despite looking for hyper growth, they hid behind ‘strong ROAS’ numbers and a slow-growing customer base.

Solution

The Evestar team made it a priority to restructure Anatomie’s Facebook campaigns, investing more time and ad spend towards first-time purchases and remarketing. While this required a higher ad spend, it resulted in significant revenue growth. Throughout this re-balancing effort, it didn’t take long for us to help Anatomie scale to a record breaking revenue month using fresh, informative creative like this Buzzfeed-style video:

After analyzing their data, we quickly realized that their first-time customers were consistently buying a specific item, mainly a pair of pants they were most famous for. With that data, we predicted future buying behavior and built individualized campaigns to trigger repeat sales. This created massive growth in revenue.

Due to a leak in lead capturing, we discovered that customer data from their on-site locations and trunk shows were stored in a different POS system. With this information, we launched a campaign targeting untouched customers with a welcome message from the CEO inviting them to a special Friends & Family sales event. Not only did this help to increase their lead bucket, but it also instantly generated revenue from existing loyal customers.

Upon integrating their existing Shopify account with Klaviyo, we built segmented and automated email flows. As a result, Anatomie generated revenue overnight without having to allocate an additional penny to their marketing spend. We also leveraged effective Shopify Add-Ons to lift conversion rates, urge customers to check out faster, and buy more items through up-selling and cross-selling tools.

To amplify brand exposure and domain authority, we implemented affiliate and influencer marketing programs that presented commission-based opportunities to travel bloggers and other influencers. Through these campaigns, we significantly increased social engagement and backlinks to support SEO growth.

Results

Anatomie experienced a 107% increase in lead count within the first 60 days of partnering with Evestar. Even after a spend reallocation, revenue reached record-highs with ROAS consistently 7-8x higher than it was prior to working with our team.
