Launched MASQD in March in the Midst of Global Pandemic and Scaled to Top Mask Brand in the World
The Evestar team initiated the MASQD brand launch at the start of March, right as the COVID19 pandemic was just beginning to unfold. As a new brand, there was zero brand awareness or traffic from a previous audience.
To support the MASQD launch, we implemented a series of initiatives designed to reach customers across various digital touchpoints. We led with digital campaigns across Facebook to quickly scale budgets and later expanded into Pinterest to diversify reach. To nurture leads and maximize sales, we set up multiple email and SMS automation flows. Additionally, we optimized CRO to maximize AOV.
While running FB ads, we were confronted with restricted policies around face masks. This required the team to act nimbly and with acute attention to detail in order to ensure campaigns were scaling despite limited real estate on Facebook. There was a continuous need to swap out creatives as the campaign moved forward; however, this only further fueled the team’s creativity in which we developed viral ads that catapulted campaign success.
In cooperation with the brand’s PR team, we leveraged widely circulated press covering top influencers like Bella Hadid and Jennifer Lopez sporting MASQD product. Harnessing the power of influencer marketing to amplify brand presence resulted in explosive growth. By the end of the initial launch, we successfully repositioned the brand narrative to become one of the first companies on a global scale to promote masks as a fashion accessory.
Despite launching at the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic, MASQD went on to become a leader in the mask apparel space throughout the USA and globally. In just over 2 weeks, we successfully reached 8 figure revenues. To date, ongoing campaigns continue to scale millions of dollars in revenue each month.
